Dr. Anita Misra-Goulart was raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of North Florida. She then attended Barry University in Miami Shores where she received both her Masters and Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine degrees.
Dr. Misra-Goulart attended her three-year reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency in Hollywood, FL at Memorial Healthcare System. She gained extensive experience managing complex cases through rotations in the hospital's level 1 trauma center, the wound care clinic, the pediatric hospital, and the orthopedic surgical unit. Her training is in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, included cutting-edge, minimally invasive surgical techniques. This enables her to provide advanced care with quicker recovery times and less postoperative pain for her patients.
Dr. Misra-Goulart served as chief resident in her final year, demonstrating leadership and excellence in patient care. She is well-versed in addressing congenital, degenerative, and traumatic conditions of the lower extremity, making her a highly skilled and compassionate podiatrist.
Dr. Misra-Goulart enjoys traveling with her husband and spending quality time with her pets, rescue dogs, Pongo and Dan Marino, and her cats.
